One of my students has told me about World
TV I'm very interested in finding on-line video for my students
and am still researching the area. Let me know if you have any
ideas.
One of the first on-line tools a student
may need is a dictionary. If you want to translate a French word
into English click here and if you want to translate an English word
into French click here.
If you want to research a topic for a class
activity then you may want to use the French version of Google or Wikipedia.
Many students have been doing activities relating
to Morocco this term. Click here for a results page after a search
for Maroc on Google.fr.
Make a start with podcasts (advanced students
only) by checking out this
page which has several links to choose
from.
The Google toolbar gives you a facility to translate
a page you are reading into another language. Click here to
download and install it. Then use it to see how well it works for
you.
I've been asked to put some links up to French
property sites. There are so many that I will need to investigate
but you can make a start on your own by clicking here
One or two of you have asked what happened to
Claude Francois. He is still here |
